This is easily doubled and you can use a 9″ X 13″ pan.
6 tablespoons Butter
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Water
1 cup Chocolate morsels, semi-sweet
2 large Egg(s)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3/4 cup Flour
1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Pecans, chopped
Grease an 8 X 8 pan and pre-heat oven to 350º.
In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water. Bring to boil and remove from heat.
Add the chocolate chips and stir to melt.
Add eggs and vanilla and stir until combined.
Stir in flour, baking soda and salt until combined. Add pecans(optional).
Pour mixture into pan and bake for about 20 minutes or until edges are set and start to pull away from the pan.
