Chocolate Topping

Chocolate Topping


5 ounces Evaporated milk
1 cup Sugar
4 ounces Chocolate, unsweetened
2 tablespoons Butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla flavoring
1/4 teaspoon Salt

Heat milk and sugar to rolling boil. Stir constantly.

Boil for 1 minute.

Reduce heat and add chocolate. Stir until melted.

Remove from heat and add butter, salt and vanilla.
