CR BBQ Sauce

3/4 cup Vinegar
6 ounces Tomato paste
1/2 cup Molasses, dark
1/4 cup Water
2 tablespoons Orange marmelade
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
1 teaspoon Garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Ginger
1/2 teaspoon Dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon Allspice
1/4 teaspoon Celery seed
1/4 teaspoon Thyme, dried
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 small Bay leaf(s)

Mix all ingredients in saucepan and bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, uncovered.
At this point you can add 1 tablespoon of liquid smoke and stir well.
Makes 2 cups.
