Mom’s Christmas Fudge

This is a recipe from Mamie Eisenhower that Mom used to make during the Holidays.  It is still the best fudge ever!

4 1/2 cups Sugar
1 large can Evaporated milk
1/4 pound Butter
12 ounces Hershey bar
12 ounces Chocolate chips
7 ounces Marshmallow cream
1 cup Walnuts, chopped

Makes about 5 pounds.

Boil butter, milk and sugar for 6 minutes in heavy pan.

Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.

Pour into buttered pan or pan lined with wax paper and cut just before cool.
